A 25-minute film on four-time Winter Olympian Kesavan titled 'An Unsung Shiva From Himalayas' has been directed by sports journalist Jasvinder Sidhu.

The film tries to capture Kesavan's journey from a small town in Himachal into becoming 'face of Winter Sports' in India.

On a film being made on him, Kesavan said,"I am happy that winter sports is getting recognition at last. It's great to have a film on me. I have watched the film and it has been a very professional initiative."

Director of the film, Sidhu said,"It was a big challenge while shooting a film on Shiva as he has been in the circuit for 15 years and made the country proud. It was our endeavour to connect his story with the beauty of Himachal."

The film will be sent next month as an Indian entry in the short-film category at the Izmir International Short Film Festival, Turkey. The festival will be held in November.
