In capital Shimla, the minimum temperature dipped to 14.5 degrees Celsius from yesterday's 18.6 degrees Celsius after the city received 3mm rainfall.
Una was the hottest in the state with the temperature oscillating between 42 degrees and 25.4 degrees Celsius.
Sundernagar recorded a high of 38.1 deg C, followed by Nahan at 36.8 deg C, Bhunter 35.7 deg C, Dharamshala 33.8 deg C, Solan 33.2 deg C and Kalpa 21.2 deg C.
Kufri near Shimla received 13 mm rains, while Salooni and Kumarsein recorded 5 mm and 4 mm rains respectively.
The MeT office has predicted rain and thunderstorm at various places in mid and higher hills of the state during the next 24 hours.
