Shriram Transport raises Rs 600 crore via NCDs

Shriram Transport Finance Company has raised Rs 600 crore by issuing non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis.

"The allotment committee-NCDs of the company in its meeting held on March 23, 2017, approved and allotted 6,000 partly paid secured redeemable rated listed non-convertible debenture of face value of Rs 10,00,000 each on private placement basis for a issue size of Rs 600 crore," Shriram Transport Finance Company said in a BSE filing.

The interest rate on the NCDs is 8.10 per cent and tenure is 5 years.

Shares of Shriram Transport Finance Company were trading 0.42 per cent higher at Rs 1,036.10 apiece on BSE.
