Shyam Dhar Dubey's addl charge as CEA chief extended

Senior bureaucrat Shyam Dhar Dubey's additional charge as Chairperson, Central Electricity Authority (CEA), was today extended for five months.

Dubey, member (Planning) in the CEA - entrusted with matters related to the overall development of power sector - was already holding the additional charge.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension for a further period of five months effective from today, or till the appointment of a regular incumbent, an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training said.

He is an officer of Central Power Engineering Service.
