Former union minister and senior lawyer Kabil Sibal, who represents the state government in the bar policy case, was forced to leave the Kerala High Court here today amid protests by a section of lawyers striking work in response to a nation-wide agitation on the killing of an advocate in Allahabad last week.
Following a strike call by Bar Council of India, lawyers across the state abstained from work protesting the killing of the lawyer in Allahabad allegedly by a policeman on March 12.
When Sibal entered the court hall along with government lawyers, some agitating lawyers informed him about the protest call given by the Bar Council and he left the court immediately.
