Bloomberg TV India has replaced its editor Vivek Law with Siddharth Zarabi of rival business chaneel CNBC TV18 as executive editor.
Though the business channel promoted by the media mogul and ex-mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg in a statement said that Law has decided to pursue his personal interests, however, channel insiders said company did not renew his contract.
The appointment is effective November 1, said the four-year-old Bloomberg TV India in Reliance Capital of the Anil Ambani's Reliance Group, which holds some considerable stake.
Prior to the new job, Zarabi was the national news editor at CNBC TV18, before which he held various roles at the Business Standard, Hindustan Times and the Indian Express.
