The two killed were local villagers, Siddique claimed adding that they and the injured person were identified as residents of villages near the forest and were Mahadalits.
''None of the three persons had anything to do with naxal activities,'' he told newsmen.
He demanded registration of a murder case against the accused security personnel, besides payment of ex-gratia of Rs ten lakh to the kin of each victim and Rs five lakh to the injured person.
The kin of the three villagers have lodged a complaint with State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) alleging that the security forces fired on them while they were bathing their cattle in a pond, Siddique said.
The security forces had recovered the two bodies from near Balther forest following an encounter with Maoists and said they belonged to the ultras.
