Former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu is doing good after undergoing treatment for acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT), says "Comedy Nights with Kapil" host Kapil Sharma.
The BJP leader was admitted to a private hospital in the national capital last evening.
"Just spoke to Sidhu paji's family.. He is fine and recovering now.. Get well soon @sherryontopp and god bless paji. See u soon on set," Kapil posted on Twitter.
The stand up comedian and Sidhu share screen space on "Comedy Nights with Kapil".
DVT is caused by a blood clot in a deep vein which hinders the normal blood flow. The symptoms may include swelling, pain, and tenderness, often in the legs.
