Diversified company Siemens Ltd today posted a net profit of Rs 13 crore for the April-June quarter this year.
The company had reported a net loss of Rs 49 crore during the same period last year, Siemens said in a regulatory filing.
"Overall, macro-economic situation is still challenging and concrete policy measures will take time to reflect in business," Sunil Mathur Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Siemens Ltd said in the filing.

Loss from the company's energy business widened to Rs 81.28 crore from Rs 36.34 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The company registered new orders of Rs 2,744 crore compared to Rs 2,619 crore in the same period last year, the filing added.
Siemens last week bagged orders worth Rs 228 crore from Reliance Industries for supplying steam turbine generation units to its Jamnagar refinery in Gujarat.
The orders are for supply of four steam turbine generation units.
Shares of Siemens fell 3.07 per cent to close at Rs 842.65 on the BSE.
