Areas adjoining Indo-Pak border in Western Rajasthan are reported to be getting the signals of Pakistan-based mobile service providers posing a threat to security.

The signals of mobile towers located in Pakistan have been detected in Sam, Nachna, Mohangarh and other areas close to the border raising possibility of the network being used by intruders or miscreants.

BSF DIG B R Meghwal said that the network of Pakistani mobile service providers was detected in several areas in the Indian territory along the border.

The officer said objections have been raised at flag meetings with Pakistan.

BSNL District Manager Yogesh Bhaskar said that actions are taken to block the signal whenever the department is informed.
