Several Sikh groups would march to the residence of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on May 15 to protest against his "failure" to address the issue of release of Sikh prisoners who have completed their jail terms.

Leaders from various Sikh groups like Dal Khalsa, United Akali Dal, Akali Dal Panch Pardani, Sikh Youth of Punjab, Akand Kirtani Jatha, Damdami Taksal (Ajnala), Panthic Sewa Lehar under the banner of Committee for the Release of Political Prisoners (CRPP) will march from Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib here to Chandigarh on Friday, said CRPP coordinator Gurdeep Singh Bhatinda today.

He said CRPP took the decision to voluntarily offer for arrest after all their appeals to Union as well as state governments fell on deaf ears on the issue of releasing Sikh prisoners lodged in various jails even as they had completed their jail terms.
