Sikh pilgrims from HP to visit historic Gurudwaras in Pakistan

A 15-member batch of Sikh pilgrims from Himachal Pradesh would visit various historic Gurudwaras in Pakistan on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanank Devji.

The ten-day visit would commence on November 15 and would conclude on November 24, an official spokesman said here.

A jattha (batch) of 3,000 Sikhs pilgrims would visit historic Gurudwaras in Pakistan but the quota allotted to the HP was only 15, he added.

He said interested persons could send application on plain paper indicating his/her complete name, address, contact number including mobile number with attested photocopies of passport, and bona fide certificate to D K Manta, Deputy Secretary, Home, Yojana Bhawan, Himachal Pradesh secretariat, Shimla on or before November 4.
