Sikh community of Ghaziabad today organised a candle light march from Bazaria-Gurudwara upto GT Road Ghantaghar here and assembled near Shaheed Bhagat Singh statue to demand justice for the 1984 riot victim families, said Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee sources.
Addressing the gathering secretary of Gurudwara Guru Singh Sabha, Sardar Inderjeet Singh Titoo said even after 31 years of Sikhs' carnage in 1984 not a single guilty has been punished.
Sikh community want that culprits of the massacre be put behind the bars.
Around 300 Sikhs were killed in UP and in Ghaziabad itself 29 Sikhs were murdered and 123 cases were registered at various police stations, Singh said.
