Silk varieties, woolen shawls with Kashmiri embroidery, jackets, coats, ready-to-wear garments in cotton, wool, silk and poly Khadi and herbal products are on display at an exhibition organised by the Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan here.
The exhibition at the Harijan Sevak Sangh inaugurated by Khadi and Village Industries Commission CEO B H Anil Kumar yesterday will continue till December 31, 2014. It has 75 stalls out of which 40 are allocated to the Khadi institutions and 35 for the village industries and PMEGP (Prime Minister's Employment Guarantee Programme) units.
States like Rajasthan, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir have taken part in the fair.
"On display are varieties of silk i.E. Mulbary, tassar, munga, andi; woolen shawls with Kashmiri embroidery, jackets, coats and large number of ready to wear garments in cotton, wool, silk and poly Khadi and wide range of herbal products including cosmetics," an official release said.
