SillyMonks raises Rs three crore

Hyderabad-based digital and entertainment start-up SillyMonks, a YouTube multi channel network partner, announced today it has raised Rs three crore from HNI, Sreenivasa Reddy Musani, Chairman and Managing Director of Ektha Group.

The deal would help SillyMonks augment its market leadership and to introduce new digital media properties, the start-up said in a statement.

SillyMonks plans to launch six web series properties on its YouTube channel "SILLY TUBE", it was stated.

The fund was started with the idea of helping Indian technocrats build disruptive technology solutions for the global market.
