Press Trust of India New Delhi
Silver prices fell further by Rs 513 per cent to Rs 38,627 per kg in futures trading today on speculative selling amid weak global trends.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in July moved down by Rs 513, or 1.31 per cent, to Rs 38,627 per kg in business turnover of 6,780 lots.

September silver traded lower by Rs 472, or 1.19 per cent, to Rs 39,200 per kg in 122 lots.

Analysts said offloading positions by participants following a weakening global trend mainly kept pressure on silver prices at futures trade.

Meanwhile, silver lost 0.6 per cent to $17.08 an ounce in Singapore.
