Taking weak cues from overseas markets, silver prices fell by Rs 78 to Rs 35,115 per kg in futures trade today, as participants reduced exposure.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in December shed Rs 78 or 0.22 per cent to Rs 35,115 per kg in a business turnover of 1,094 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in far-month March next year declined by Rs 33 or 0.09 per cent to Rs 35,858 per kg in a business volume of three lots.

In the international market, silver fell 0.62 per cent to USD 14.49 an ounce in Singapore.
Traders said the fall in silver prices at futures trade was largely in line with a weak trend in precious metals in global markets as investors weighed whether the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates at its meeting next week.
