Silver prices moved down by 0.53 per cent to Rs 46,468 per kg in futures trading today as participants cut their bets on weak global cues.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in December month fell by Rs 246, or 0.53 per cent, to Rs 46,468 per kg in business turnover of 5,909 lots.
On similar lines, the white metal for delivery in March next year was trading lower by Rs 215, or 0.45 per cent to Rs 47,454 per kg in 144 lots.

Traders attributed the fall in silver prices at futures trade to a weak trend in global markets.
Globally, silver fell 1.15 per cent to USD 19.35 an ounce in London today.
