Silver prices eased by 0.58% to Rs 38,051 per kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced holding on the back of weak cues from global markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in December declined by Rs 222, or 0.58%, to Rs 38,051 per kg in a business turnover of 1,583 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in March next year traded lower by Rs 223, or 0.57%, to Rs 38,758 per kg in 17 lots.

Market analysts said speculators reduced holding on the back of weak cues from the global market which kept pressure on silver prices at futures trade.
Meanwhile, silver traded 0.12% lower at USD 17.07 an ounce in Singapore today.
