Silver prices were up 0.24 per cent to Rs 35,350 per kg in futures trading today as traders created fresh positions, taking positive cues from overseas markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in December month rose Rs 83, or 0.24 per cent, to Rs 35,350 per kg in business turnover of 6,098 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in March contracts traded higher by Rs 63, or 0.17 per cent to Rs 36,080 per kg in 50 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions built up by speculators in tandem with a firm global trend mainly influenced silver prices at futures trade.
Meanwhile, silver added 0.2 per cent to USD 14.80 an ounce in London.
