Silver prices fell 0.59 per cent to Rs 30,276 per kg in futures market today after speculators offloaded positions on the back of weak global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in December moved down by Rs 235, or 0.59 per cent, to Rs 39,276 per kg in a business turnover of 10,585 lots.
Marketmen said trimming of positions by speculators in tandem with a weak global trend kept pressure on silver prices at futures trade.
Meanwhile, silver shed 0.62 per cent to USD 17.67 an ounce in London.
