Silver prices were marginally up 0.03 per cent to Rs 37,028 per kg in futures trade today, tracking a better trend in global market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in December was trading higher by Rs 10, or 0.03 per cent to Rs 37,028 per kg in a business turnover of 4,694 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions built up by traders in tandem with a firm global trend mainly helped silver prices to rise in futures trade.
Meanwhile, silver rose 0.4 per cent to USD 15.91 an ounce in London.
