Silver prices rose by Rs 193 to Rs 37,302 per kg in futures trading today as participants built up fresh positions by a firm global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in far-month July gained by Rs 193, or 0.52%, to Rs 37,302 per kg in business turnover of 2 lots.
Likewise, the white metal for delivery in May traded higher by Rs 115, or 0.31%, to Rs 36,638 per kg in 349 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions taken by speculators, taking positive cues from global market as investors assessed the outlook for interest rates before the US reports employment data, influenced precious metal prices at futures trade.
Meanwhile, silver added 0.10% to $16.26 an ounce in Singapore.
