Silver prices rose 0.51 per cent to Rs 37,925 per kg in futures trading today as speculators increased their bets, tracking a firming global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in March 2016 rose by Rs 192, or 0.51 per cent to Rs 37,925 per kg in a business turnover of 58 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in December traded higher by Rs 174, or 0.47 per cent to Rs 37,238 per kg in 5,468 lots.

Analysts said speculators enlarged their positions, taking positive cues from global markets that led to rise in silver prices in futures trade.
Meanwhile, silver traded higher 1.07 per cent to USD 16.04 an ounce in London.
