Media mogul Simon Cowell has reportedly gifted singer Cheryl Cole a land in the Scottish Highlands which comes with the title 'Lady'.

Cowell, who famously fell out with the former Girls Aloud singer when he sacked her from the US version of 'The X Factor', also said that he adores Cole and they are good friends now, reported Sun Online.

"Simon had the deeds for the land and the details of her new title delivered to where Cheryl was staying," a source said.

The information was sent to Cole in Los Angeles, California, where she was busy celebrating her 30th birthday with her boyfriend Tre Holloway and two of her Girls Aloud bandmates, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.

Cowell' was earlier accused of snubbing Cole's birthday celebrations after which the 53-year-old took to his Twitter account to reveal he was unable to attend the event due to 'American Idol' filming commitments.

"I didn't snub Cheryl's party. I just couldn't go because of my filming dates. We are close friends again and I adore her," he wrote.
