GRL singer Simone Battle's death has been ruled as suicide by hanging, it has been confirmed by a Los Angeles coroner.
Los Angeles County Coroner's Lt Fred Corral determined the cause of the 25-year-old singer's death, just two days after she was found hanging the wardrobe of her bedroom at her apartment in Los Angeles, reported Hollywood Life.
As a result of the former US 'X Factor' contestant's passing, a concert her group GRL were due to perform in Nova's Red Room Global Tour has been cancelled.

The group paid tribute to their late member over the weekend following the tragic news of her passing.
A posting on GRL's Twitter account read, "Words cannot express the depth of our loss. Simone's incredible talent was only surpassed by the size of her heart. We will carry her memory with us in everything we do. (sic)."
Several stars including Simon Cowell, who her mentor on US 'X Factor', also paid tribute to the late star.
"I am so sad to hear about the news Simone Battle has passed away. She was such a fun nice person. It's such a loss. Rest in peace Simone (sic)," Cowell said.
