Engineering firm Simplex Infra today reported a marginal increase in standalone net profit at Rs 22 crore for the quarter ended March 2015 on higher sales.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 21 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, Simplex Infra said in a statement.
The company's total sales for the January-March period increased to Rs 1,563 crore from Rs 1,463 crore in the corresponding period, a growth of 6.83 per cent.

For the full fiscal 2014-15, the company reported a net profit of Rs 62 crore as against Rs 61 crore in previous fiscal.
Its total revenues also increased marginally to Rs 5,661 crore during the year as compared to Rs 5,615 crore in FY14.
In FY15, the company bagged orders worth Rs 6,487 crore.
Its order book as on March 31 stands at Rs 16,104 crore in addition to the L1 status of Rs 696 crore, the statement added.
