The producers for the live-action version of "Sinbad" say they are looking for a Middle Eastern actor to play the film's main lead.

The duo of David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman say the cast will be led by someone who represents the ethnic roots of the character, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

They also reveal the hero in question will also share the screen with a British character, along with another character.

"We have an Englishman that goes along with him. It's a two-hander, and almost a three hander," says Hoberman.

The Disney film will be helmed by "Game of Thrones" director Miguel Sapochnik and written by Kyle Killen.

Recently, Disney also called for actors of Middle Eastern descent for their live-action "Aladdin" remake.
