Singapore Airlines and its subsidiary SilkAir will be operating nine new flights between India and the South East Asian country from next month.
From October 27, Singapore Airlines would be launching its third daily flight from Delhi while its subsidiary SilkAir would be operating 10th weekly flight from Kochi and fourth weekly flight from Vishakhapatnam, an airline spokesperson said.
It will boost India and Singapore services from 98 to 107 times weekly across 11 Indian cities - Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram and Visakhapatnam.
"India is an extremely important market for the Singapore Airlines Group and the nine additional weekly services clearly demonstrate our commitment to growing business and tourism exchange between both countries", said G M Toh, General Manager India, Singapore Airlines.
