Singapore govt picks up shares worth Rs 115 cr in Mahindra CIE

Singapore government today acquired shares worth Rs 115 crore in in Mahindra CIE Automotive in a bulk transaction on BSE.

According to the latest data, Singapore government acquired 50 lakh shares of the auto component maker at a price of Rs 230.50 per scrip.

This is at steep discount compared to today's closing price of Rs 239.05 per share on the BSE.

The company's shares today rose 2.62 per cent from its previous close.

Mahindra CIE Automotive is a leading player in forging business with plants in Germany, UK and India.

It is also into manufacturing of forged and machined products for automotive, agriculture, railway, mining, construction and other industries.
