Rock band The Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a crew member during a flight from the US.
The singer, who was travelling from New York City to her native Ireland today, was detained by police officers after the Aer Lingus flight touched down at Shannon Airport, reported BBC.
Cops were called to meet the aircraft following allegations the star attacked a female staff member onboard the plane. A police officer was also allegedly assaulted in the course of the arrest.

O'Riordan, 43, was taken to a local police station for questioning.
"An incident took place on board flight Ei 110 en route from New York to Shannon. The matter is being investigated by (the Irish police). As this is a security matter we will not comment any further," a spokesman for Aer Lingus said.
