"Through the concerts, which will include 'mehfili' dadras, thumris, kajri, ghazals along with nawabs, shayars and dancers, I wish to recreate and revive the dying art of 'mehfili' presentations," Ghosh told PTI.
'Darbari mehfil' is a fusion and fission of classical song, dance with live performance in its historical perspective, conceived and presented by Ghosh, the release said.
The singer has been a flag bearer of Banaras Gharana, who has been patronising the musical tradition, has been recreating the erstwhile royal court mehfils serialised in time for the last few years which are gaining popularity ever since.
"Through this efforts, I aim to showcase and promote the lost musical styles and ways of presentation and endear it to the hearts of today's youth," she said.
Ghosh also said that her pet project 'Sangeet Gram' has been recently inducted into UNESCO's 'Cultural City' project.
