After examining the places identified by the Odisha government for permanent and temporary campuses of the proposed Indian Institute Management (IIM) here, the site selection committee today said it will submit its report to the Centre by June 25.
"The report will be submitted to the government by Thursday next and if the recommendation is accepted, efforts will be made to start admission and classes from this academic session," Director in Human Resource Development Ministry, Shailendra Kumar told reporters.
If everything goes on well and admission takes place, this session could commence with 70 seats instead of 140, he said expressing satisfaction over cooperation from the state government in site selection exercise.

The site selection team, which had arrived here yesterday, visited the area at Neeldungri under Jujomura block for a possible site for permanent campus today. It also visited the government ITI at Rasanpur near the Maneswar area on the outskirt of the city.
Accompanied by senior district officials, they inspected the adjoining the land and nearby areas and also the rooms and other facilities available at the building of Government ITI at Rasanpur.
The committee had yesterday visited the proposed land for permanent campus at Basantpur near Goshala under Dhankauda block and Brahmanipali under Rengali block area.
The committee members also visited some sites identified by the state government for temporary campus yesterday.
Among the sites were, Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (SUIIT) at Burla, Silicon Engineering College here and government polytechnic at Rengali area.
Prof Pawan Kumar Singh of IIM-Indore, which is the mentor institute, said the team visited several sites and would make a proper evaluation.
All sites identified by the state government were examined during the team's visit since yesterday and a report would be submitted to the Centre, said Secretary in the Department of Technical Education and Training, Odisha government.
