Six accused in a murder case paraded in the city by the police

Six accused of a murder case were paraded by the police in the city today, to give a stern warning to anti-social elements.

They had allegedly killed a 31-year-old youth in a gruesome manner on June 16 over removing a vehicle parked on the road.

The victim was identified as Sunny Dhurri (31), Chandan Nagar police station in-charge Vinod Dixit told PTI.

All the accused aged between 20 and 30 years, committed the crime under the influence of liquor. They attacked Dhurri with a knife and killed him, he said.

The police paraded the accused identified as Rahul Yadav, Chotu, Sanju, Nitin Kale, Shivpal Verma and Kalu Maratha in the Dwarkapuri area, where they were allegedly indulged in anti-social activities.
 

Dixit also informed that the police has recovered the knife used by the miscreants in the murder.
