Police also recovered two gold chains, one ring and four mobile phone sets from the six who were arrested yesterday, said inspector in charge, Town police station, Berhampur, SS Mohapatra.
While four persons, including a domestic help, were involved in looting the gold ornaments and mobile sets from a house at Tulasi Nagar area on August 29 last, two others were booked for snatching a gold chain from a woman at Khaja Street area here on August 28 last, he said.
Police said the domestic servant was the king-pin in the looting incident from the house and he invited others to commit the crime. PTI
