Six arrested in municipality official's murder case

Six persons, including three women, were arrested in connection with the murder case of a head clerk of Kandhla municipality in neighbouring Shamli district, police said today.

Riyazuddin was yesterday arrested along with Shakur, his son Abid and three daughters Abda, Aamna and Fatima, SP (rural) Vijay Bhushan said.

They allegedly killed Shamim Ahmad over a money dispute, he said.

Ahmad was stabbed to death on September 21.
