A local court today convicted six Bangladeshi nationals for committing dacoity in Odisha's Balasore district.
Additional District Judge (ADJ) Balasore Raj Kumar Sahu sentenced Sk Jahid, Babu Khan, Abu Basar Mullha and Mahamad Asad Mullah to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed on them a fine of Rs 1000 each.
Arif Khan and Bausa Khan were sentenced to 5 years RI with a fine of Rs 1000 each.
They were charged with cases of dacoity and violation of Foreign National Act on May 17, 2007.
