Six confirmed dead in Munich shooting, several gravely injured

Six people died in a shooting rampage today in a Munich shopping centre with several people severely injured, police said, in what they described as a suspected terror attack.

"Unfortunately we have six dead people to report," Munich police said on Twitter, adding there was an "unknown number of injured people".
