Six cases of dengue have been reported in Ghaziabad district, official sources said today.

Health department officials of the district have been carrying out fumigation activity in residential areas and across the district to check the mosquito-borne disease.

Sources said no dengue death has been reported from district.

"We recently got 64 samples of suspected dengue patients. We conducted tests on them and found six patients positive," Chief Medical Officer, Ghaziabad, Ajay Agarwal said.

"We have asked private hospitals that if they find any suspected case at their premises, they need to send the samples to the health department," he added.
