Six fresh cases of swine flu have been reported in Telangana where nine people succumbed to the virus and other complications since August last year, the state government said here today.
An official bulletin said 43 suspected cases of swine flu were tested yesterday and six of them turned out to be positive for the virus.
No death was reported yesterday, the bulletin said.

Sufficient stock of medicines and testing kits were available in the state, the state government said.

Telangana health minister C Laxma Reddy, who held a meeting with officials on the spread of swine flu, said there is no need for panic as the situation is under control, a state government release said.
The minister directed officials to be on alert and keep medicines ready at all hospitals, it added.
