Six persons were arrested on the charge of extortion from businessmen and drivers of vehicles in separate incidents in Dimapur district, police said today.
While three persons were arrested near Burma Camp area another from Rail Gate area yesterday.
Two others were held from New Chumukedima area while they were stopping trucks and collecting illegal tax in the name of Dimapur District Truck Drivers Welfare Trade Union, police said.
