Six IAS officers transferred in Maharashtra

Maharashtra Government today transferred six IAS officers, including Palghar Zilla Parishad CEO Vijay Suryawanshi, who has been posted as Collector of Naxal-affected Gondia district.

Suryawanshi, from 2006 IAS batch, will succeed Amit Saini.

R G Kulkarni, an officer of 2000 batch who is currently Collector of Washim, has been appointed Secretary of State Human Rights Commission in Mumbai.

R R Mane (2001 batch) has been shifted from Kolhapur, where he is Collector, to Pune where he will take over as Commissioner, Sports and Youth, official sources said.

Saini (2007) will take as Kolhapur Collector.

Ramaswami N (2004), Chief Officer, Repairs and Reconstruction Board, Mumbai has been posted as Joint Commissioner, Sales Tax in the metropolis. Subhash Lakhe will replace Ramaswami, they added.
