Six IGP grade officers promoted as ADGP in Gujarat

Gujarat government today promoted six IPS officers of Inspector General of Police (IGP) grade to Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) grade.

These officers are Meera Ramnivas (1985 batch), Satish Sharma (1986), E Radhakrishna (1986), Vinodkumar Mall (1986), Sanjay Srivastava (1987) and A K Sharma (1987), an official notificaton of the state Home department said.

Ramnivas, currently posted as the IGP of CID-Crime in Gandhinagar, has been promoted as the ADGP of CID-Crime.

Satish Sharma, serving as the IGP, Security, with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) in Vadodara, has now been appointed as the ADGP, Security in GUVNL.

Mall, serving as the IGP, Prevention of Atrocities on SC/ST in Gandhinagar, is now made the ADGP of the same department. Similarly, IGP in State Crime Record Bureau(SCRB), Gandhinagar Sanjay Srivastava is now promoted as the ADGP, SCRB.
 

After being promoted as the ADGP, E Radhakrishna will continue to serve as the Commissioner of Police(CP) of Vadodara.

A K Sharma, currently serving as the Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP) with city Crime Branch, has been made Special Commissioner of Police (Crime) after being promoted as the ADGP.
