Police suspect the house was used to store explosive material, which was recovered from there, meant for firecrackers.
Ram Babu (45), his wife Satania (40) and their children Ruby (1), Rappani Devi (13), Shivam (8) and Romit (2) were injured in the explosion at Badokhar Bujurg village last night, police said.
The intensity of the blast was so high that the walls of the house collapsed, police said, adding that the injured were admitted to the district hospital.
Superintendent of Police Gyaneshwar Tiwari said that the matter was being investigated.
