The six juveniles escaped from the remand home under the Zero Mile police station area last night by breaking the dilapidated window, the remand home superintendent Md Jasimuddin said.
Four absconding inmates, identified as Lakhan Kumar, Umesh Tanti, Dohan Murmu and Manish Kumar returned to the home home this afternoon, he said.
Two others Md Raja and Jito Yadav remained at large, Jasimuddin said, adding a case has been lodged in this connection.
Search was going on to nab the two inmates, he said.
