Six labourers were killed and 13 others injured today when their van collided head-on with a truck in Sawant Khera village in Haryana's Dabwali amdist fog.

"The labourers, who had come from Punjab for cotton harvesting in Sirsa district, were travelling in the van. Visibility was considerably low due to fog in the area and both the vehicles collided head on Sirsa-Dabwali road. A bus which was behind also rammed into the vehicle," Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dabwali, Satya Pal said.

Pal said five persons died on the spot while one succumbed on way to a hospital in Dabwali.

Four persons were seriously injured.
