Six persons were killed and 14 others injured today when a Howrah-bound bus from Digha turned turtle at Nimtouri near here in East Midnapore district.
The bus turned turtle when the driver lost control over it and six persons onboard died on the spot, police said.
The locals rushed to the spot and rescued the passengers, they said.
The injured have been rushed to Tamluk hospital, police said, adding that the identity of the victims is not known yet.
