Six killed as jeep collides with bus

Six persons, including five of a family, were killed when their jeep collided with a Haryana roadways bus near Bahu Akbarpur village on National Highway 10 today.

A resident of Kishangarh village Manjeet, along with his family and driver, was on way to Samchana village in a jeep when the vehicle hit the bus of Rohtak depot approaching from the opposite direction, police said.

All six occupants of the jeep died on the spot, they said.

People working in the nearby fields rushed to the spot and pulled out the bodies from the jeep.

Police later sent the bodies to PGIMS Rohtak for post mortem.
