The construction workers were sleeping near the 15-feet-high wall last night when it collapsed on them due to a sandstorm, injuring six of them critically, SHO (Udyog Nagar) Ram Kalyan said.
A case under IPC section 304(A) (causing death by negligence) has been lodged against two private firms engaged in the construction of the building, the SHO said.
The building is reportedly owned by Career Point Coaching Institute.
The twelve injured included five women, he said.
The bodies of the deceased were handed over to relatives following the postmortem today morning, he said.
