Six killed in Gujarat road accident

Six people, including two women and a child, were today killed in a collision between their car and a dumper truck near Adas village in Gujarat's Anand district, police said.

All the deceased were related to each other.

The incident occurred on NH 48, which connects Anand with Vadodara, when the truck coming from opposite side hit the car, a Valsad police station official said.

"The victims were returning from Ganpatpura in Tarapur in Anand district to Bharuch after offering prayers at a temple," he said.

The deceased are identified as Vidhi Patel (30), Jimit Patel (5), Vaishali Patel (32), Hiral Patel (35), and Natvarbhai Patel and his wife Mridulaben.
